Downloading e-Aadhaar and Password – The Concept
An Aadhaar Number is a unique code that is comprised of 12 digits; The system is developed for the targeted delivery of services from the ‘Government of India’. A person’s Aadhaar includes:
- Personal Details
- Demographics
- Biometrics
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) facilitates the creation of Aadhaar in India. It is available in both electronic and physical formats. If you are already having a physical one, the electronic Aadhaar should be handy only if you end up losing the physical one.
To access the e-Aadhaar, all you need is a password. The .pdf file that contains your e-Aadhaar is protected by a password which is a combination of your credentials.
e-Aadhaar Password
If you want the electronic version of your Aadhaar card, you can download it from the official website of e-Aadhaar (https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/#/). After downloading the file you’ll be required to fill-in the password for accessing it. NOTE: The password is an alpha-numeric 8 digit unique code – A combination of your personal details.
