About IDFC Government Securities Fund 

IDFC Government Securities Investment Plan is a debt mutual fund scheme that was launched by IDFC mutual fund. Later on, it was invested on 1st Jan 2013 to its investors. Currently, the fund is managed by Suyash Choudhary. Talking about AUM, it is of INR 480 Cr, and, the latest NAV is of INR 26.37 (dated as of 8th April 2020). The fund growth is rated as moderate risk. Also, the minimum SIP is INR 1000, and, minimum lumpsum investment is INR 5000.

Returns are taxed as per the Income Tax slab, only if sold before 3 years.
