HDFC Hybrid Equity Fund is a mutual scheme that was launched by HDFC mutual fundLater on, it was introduced on 6th April 2005 to its investors. Currently, the fund is managed by Rakesh Vyas, and Chirag SetalvadTalking about AUM, it is of INR 20,582, and, the latest NAV is INR 11.23 (dated as of 13th Jan 2020). The fund growth is moderately high risk. The minimum SIP amount is INR 500, and, lumpsum investment is INR 5000.  

Investment Objective 

The objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation in the long-term through equity instruments by investing in a diversified portfolio of midcap & large cap chip companies.  

Tax Implications 

Returns are taxed at 15%, only if you redeem before a year. After a year, you are required to pay LTCG tax of 10% on returns of INR 1 Lakh+ in a financial year.
